Upcoming Performance – SCI Region V Conference – Augustana College

Percussionist Caleb Herron will be playing my solo vibraphone work Primarily Sexy at this years SCI Region V Conference at Augustana College in Illinois. The Conference is taking place Oct. 1 – 2. Scheduling hasn’t been finalized, I’ll post when I know more.

The DMC Duo [Ariana Lamon-Anderson - Clarinet, Caleb Herron - Percussion] will be kicking off their Eastern US Tour late this month, and will be performing my work Increment (commissioned by Caleb Herron). So far, performances are scheduled in Cambridge, MA [June 21st, 7:30pm @ the Lilypad], and Duluth, GA [June 27th, 3pm @ Chocolate Perks], but more dates/venues are in the works. I’ll post when I hear of additions. Check the DMC Duo’s site for more information.

Addition => Performance – Papacookie Concert Series, New York, NY – June 23, 2010, 8 pm. For specific information on this concert contact us via e-mail @ dmcduo@gmail.com. At a New York apartment, this concert will be a shared bill with a group that will be named shortly.

Percussionist Caleb Herron will be premiering my solo vibraphone work Primarily Sexy at this years SCI National Conference. The Conference is taking place Nov. 11 – 14 in Columbia, SC, and is being hosted by Tayloe Harding, Sonia Jacobsen, and Samuel Douglas. The concerts have yet to be scheduled, but I’ll post when I know more.

Upcoming Performance – UIUC Composers Concert – Urbana, IL

A stereo version of my new 5.1 work Contrapture will be premiered on Sunday, Oct. 18th at 5pm at Smith Hall on the UIUC campus. The concert is organized by Dee Reddy and will feature some of his music as well as the music of Scott Rubin, Kurt Werner, Matt Thomas, and Jinok Cho. Here is a link to the concert flyer.

I will be playing my new work Cypher, for solo trumpet, at an upcoming concert organized by Kyle Rowan. The concert will feature the works by UIUC composers: Pin Hsin Lin, Quinn Collins, Steve Lett, Halim Beere, Leon Harrel, Shin-Young Aum, Kyle Rowan, and myself.
